Over 4 days and 40 films by upcoming filmmakers from 21 countries, the Athens Shorts Film Festival 2024 aims to highlight the power of independent cinema through shorts with big stories to tell. Blending fiction and documentary films of various genres and aesthetics, this year’s programme touches upon daily challenges, fears, and modern life issues

The 2nd ASFF ‘Beer n’ Greet’ will take place on the 15th of December at the Strange Brew taproom. Join us after the end of the screenings, for beers and talks.

The 5th Athens Short Film Festival was completed in the jam-packed Mikrokosmos Cinema hall, on a celebration night of independent cinema. The 5th Athens Short Film Festival returned to the cinema halls on Friday, December 2 attracting over 250 viewers who had started gathering at Mikrokosmos Cinema from early evening.

Moo is one of the many stray cats of Athens, who experienced marginalization from the other cats since childhood, as her fur resembled that of a cow more than a typical cat. Left alone, Moo turned to cinema, where she found complete acceptance.
