SHORTS Shorts 8: IF I CAN SMELL YOU FROM AFAR This short film program explores longing and the challenge of overcoming distance, or how that distance sometimes remains. The Blue Sunshine Love begins with a familiar story: a tourist visiting Thailand, falling in love, and soon confronting complications shaped by class, sexuality, and geography.

SHORTS Shorts 7: MANIFESTO From manifestations to manifestos, these six films celebrate the power of the will, of tenderness and poetry, of first times and a seemingly endless search… the power of self-representation. As the protagonist in Zagêro rages about disabling systems in an ableist society, the film asks back: How to “present” that rage?

As colonial histories of categorization and exploitation are excavated, healing and transformation sprouts all around.
