Hamptons International Film Festival

2026 has been our busiest summer at HamptonsFilm yet, spanning from East Hampton to Montauk! We held six free outdoor screenings so far at locations including Herrick Park, Main Beach, Mulford Farm, Amber Waves Farm, and LongHouse Reserve.

Our 18th annual season of SummerDocs continued on Saturday night with a screening of THE LION QUEEN, Alden Nusser and Ben Fries’ intimate portrait of Swiss socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein, known by 90s tabloids as “the catwoman,” and the Wildenstein art empire. The evening began with a picture-perfect reception hosted at The Baker House.

Our 18th annual season of SummerDocs opened with a powerful screening of KNIFE: THE ATTEMPTED MURDER OF SALMAN RUSHDIE, Alex Gibney’s harrowing documentary that is both a striking testament to freedom of expression and a defiant response to the attempt on Rushdie’s life. The evening began with a lovely reception hosted at The Hedges Inn.
